One Bed House - socialise with adjacent grad houses : Edgbaston, Birmingham : £138pw June 01, 2013 at 08:16AM
One Bed House - socialise with adjacent grad houses : Edgbaston, Birmingham : £138pw So you want your own place, but you also want the opportunity to meet other like minded graduates in the area. This grade II listed, one bedroom house, shares the garden with a four bedroom gradcommunity house share. The two houses next door are also gradcommunity houses. Unlike a city centre flat, you can have your own space, but also get together and go out with your neighbours too! The house is fully furnished and large enough for a couple. Upstairs the double bedroom has a large walk in wardrobe. The bathroom has a good sized shower and separate bath. The kitchen has all mod cons including a dishwasher, microwave and larder style integrated fridge freezer, and washer dryer. Hot water and heating is provided by a modern A rated condensing boiler. There is around 300mm of insulation. The house, like many listed buildings is single glazed and has external solid walls, so not the most economical. The low 'A' band Council Tax, water bill and free wireless broadband mean that the bills are however very affordable when compared to city centre apartments. There is off road parking for one car, a video entry system, burglar alarm and good sized patio and garden which is shared with the main 4 bed house. Overall this house would suit a young graduate couple, who want to meet and socialise with other young graduates, be close to the city centre and enjoy some outside space. http://www.gumtree.com/p/flats-houses/one-bed-house-socialise-with-adjacent-grad-houses-edgbaston-birmingham-138pw/1020456533 http://ifttt.com/images/no_image_card.png
