Double Room to rent - Friendly Professional House Share, Furnished, Nr Birmingham City Centre Edgbas : Edgbaston : £91pw Join our Friendly House Share. We're looking for someone that's up for a laugh, but will not play music after 10. 30pm in the week because we all get up early for work. That said, although the house is always tidy, there is a nice atmosphere and it's really a homely and relaxed house : ) Cleaners keep it clean, and we all do our bit to keep it tidy. The location is great. You can easily dip in and out of town if needed, and there's a nearby Tesco that one of us is usually off to. And some great takeaway options if we can't be bothered to cook... lol. There's a nice park directly opposite and you can see the BT tower on the horizon which gives you an idea of how close you are to Birmingham City Centre. And there are local gyms, ASDA superstore and shopping centre just a few min drive from our house. There's plenty of on street parking as we're opposite Summerfield park near Edgbaston Reservoir, so there's no neighbouring houses opposite meaning we have twice as much parking space as usual. Considering the size of the rooms and high standards, you get great value for your money without actually paying City Centre prices... but can be in town in less than 10 min. A taxi will only cost around a fiver! And there are regular buses that will take you practically anywhere in Birmingham. There's also easy access to the M5, M6, M40 and M42 motorway network. We've got a mixture of interests including cooking, going to the pub, cycling, gym etc, and all get on really well. The kitchen is big enough, well equipped and there's plenty of cupboard and fridge space. But isn't huge, so if you're looking for a large kitchen, this probably isn't the best choice to be honest. Absolutely all the bills are included, so there's never any disputes. There is a fair use policy, but this has never had to be enforced, and we all agree to this before moving in. We all take turns to put in £3 into the kitty and then share toilet rolls, washing up liquid and soap etc. But when the available room goes, this will mean there will be 5 of us in the group and your turn won't come around very often. We also take turns to take out bin bags and we recycle : ) There's also a facebook group that's pretty cool if you're new to the area. It helps you meet new people with similar interests from other house shares in the community.
