One Bedroom Flat in Selly Park Close to the University £305pcm : Birmingham : £70pw Hi there, I'm leaving Birmingham and am looking for somebody to take-over renting my great flat. This is a really great flat for such a low price and is in a good, convenient location for the University of Birmingham (Upland Road, Selly Park). The flat is only available to full-time students and is for single occupancy only. It's rented privately through the landlord who is a very nice, reliable guy. The rent is £305.00 a month and does not include bills. The bills (gas and electric) are paid via prepaid meters which work out really well as you can keep a close eye on how much you are spending and adjust what you use accordingly. I currently have virgin media broadband that would be quick and simple for you to arrange to continue should you want it. In addition there is a fully-refundable £355.00 security deposit payable to the landlord along with your first month's rent. My current contract is until the end of August, but you'll be able to renew it indefinitely when that comes to an end. I am pretty much ready to move now so the flat can be ready to move into quite quickly. The flat has a slightly unconventional layout, it's an old house converted into 7 flats. My flat consists of three rooms (all private, not shared) a big, light livingroom-kitchen (approx 5m x 6m), a bedroom (approx 4m x 4m), and a bathroom. Each of the rooms are accessed from a communal corridor from which others also access various rooms. There are a variety of other post-grads/post-docs living in the house all of which are fairly quiet but friendly.
