Awesome wicked fun time house to share : Birmingham : £92pw Hey guys, I'm just buying my first house, and two rooms of the four total left available. There's a decent sized double room (£400pcm) and a boxy single room (£300pcm) free. The price includes all the usual bills, broadband, and a cleaner for the common areas. I'm moving in at the beginning of January, so people can move in a few weeks after that when I've had time to do a few trips to Ikea. It takes about half an hour to walk into town, or it takes five minutes on the bus from right outside. The road is a quiet crescent, and it's easy to park outside. There's a park just down the road too. The house was only built a few years ago, and I'm taking pride in it so it'll be clean and have cool stuff in it. I'm bringing in a 50 inch telly and an Xbox with loads of games that you can use whenever you like, and I'm making the garage into a little weights room. In my current house we cook together, have dinner parties, do the occasional pub quiz, party it up at the weekend and have film night on Sundays, and I really like that sociable vibe so I wanna bring that to the new place. There will be a massive house warming party too!! So far the people moving in are me and my mate Dan. We're 27 and 24, and we both work at a nearby games company. We both live in gradcommunity houses at the moment (Google it if you don't know it), so we usually hang out with a big group of fun peeps at the weekend. If you're moving to Birmingham for your first proper job, then you'll probably find this house ideal!
